1963 Lambretta Li150 - restored.
This Lambretta was bought for about 150 quid in 2006. It came mostly complete, missing its sidepanels and carb, but on closer inspection, was quite badly bodged, with a home-made downpipe and a welded-on flywheel some of the more notable modifications that a previous owner had decided to do. I stripped the engine, fitting a new crank, new bearings and seals, and an Indian barrel, cylinder and 42mm big bore exhaust. The hubs and forks where stripped and new bearings, seals and brakepads fitted. The springs and links where chromed. The frame and panels were blasted to bare metal and resprayed in the garage with aerosols. After fitting a 12volt ignition and bunging in some oil and petrol, the thing started up first kick. Result. Most parts were sourced from E-bay, keeping the cost down as low as possible. In all, I probably spent about 500 quid in total on top of the original purchase price. All that needs doing now is getting the engine set up properly and then applying for registration papers and a number plate.

...you built a time machine...out of a DeLorean???
This is it! This is the answer. It says here that a bolt of lightning is going to strike the clock tower at precisely 10:04pm, next Saturday night! If we can somehow harness this lightning channel it into the flux capacitor it just might work. Next Saturday night, we're sending you back to the future!

Great Grampa, Great Granny and Grampa Peffers

This photo was taken in around 1918. My Great Grampa Sandy Burnside Peffers, my Great Granny Kitty Daly Peffers, and my Grampa David Burnside Peffers. My great grandparents are both around 20 years old, and my grandfather is about 2. Sandy had just gotten back from serving in the First World War. This picture used to hang on the wall in my grandfather's house.
I have an old Oxo tin that belonged to my him that is full of photographs and clippings, which I am going to take scans of to save them from fading into nothingness.

...More Gerry Anderson shows.....
...and here is the one where they "jump through space tubes or into holes when they were about to go in a spacecraft?"
